IPv6 Security

Synopsis:

IPv6 was developed by the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) to deal with the long-anticipated problem of IPv4 address exhaustion. IPv6 is intended to replace IPv4. IPv6 uses a 128-bit address, theorectically allowing 2^128, or approximately 3.4x10^38 addresses. This talk will discuss the security aspects that you need to know about for IPv6.

Speaker Bio:

IT Management: Sanjeev have led, from Business Alignment to ongoing operations, teams that delivered projects and applications to large Enterprises. By careful planning, he have been able to ensure that each project met pre–set expectations, and contributed to business needs.

Business Management: Sanjeev have been responsible for identifying business needs, and taken the lead in developing products and services for external customers. He have also assisted other C-level management in strategic operations.

Directorships: As Director of various eSys Group companies world–wide, he have been responsible for regulatory, IP, and legal compliance.

Having been a member of the ExCo (currently Treasurer) of the Linux Users' Group, Singapore, since 2002. Between 2005 and 2009, he had coordinated the Asian Open Source Training Workshops, of which over two dozen were held.

Sanjeev continue to speak at Universities and Seminars, with a focus on IT Project Management, Risk Management, and IPv6.He have delivered Certification Courses, including PMP Risk Management and IPv6, to Government departments and Financial Institutes.
